Would you like to invest in charitable causes?

By setting up a subfoundation under the charitable EMPIRIS umbrella foundation, you can get involved without having to start a separate foundation.

Prof. Dr. Felix Gutzwiller, Chairman of the charitable EMPIRIS Foundation

ABOUT US

Founders may set up a subfoundation under the umbrella of the EMPIRIS Foundation and are free to determine the charitable purposes of this subfoundation. The EMPIRIS Foundation is responsible for managing the operations of the subfoundation. A subfoundation can be set up during your lifetime or as part of your will.

The costs of setting up and managing the subfoundation are borne mostly by the umbrella foundation. EMPIRIS usually contacts potential project partners itself in order to identify eligible projects. Charitable and tax-exempt institutions can also independently submit requests for project support.

However, experience shows that the likelihood of receiving support is relatively low. Requests for support from individuals are not considered.

PROJECTS WE SUPPORT

EMPIRIS supports teaching, science and research, as well as further education and training, in integrative cancer treatment through the "Günter und Regine Kelm-Stiftung" foundation. This foundation supports people and institutions who are researching unique and innovative methods of cancer treatment as part of a holistic approach that combines conventional and complementary treatment methods in an optimum manner.

It supports clinical cancer and stem cell research projects through the "Martin-Stoffel-Stiftung" foundation and the financing of projects to identify individual leukemia treatments for children through the "Judith-Linggi-Fonds" fund.

Research into the causes of Alzheimer's disease and support for the therapeutic aspects of this condition are enabled by the "Hörnli" and "Alzheimer" funds.

PROJECT REQUESTS

We usually contact potential project partners ourselves in order to identify eligible projects. Charitable and tax-exempt institutions can also independently submit requests for project support. However, experience shows that the likelihood of receiving support is relatively low. Requests for support from individuals are not considered.

Additionally, requests for contributions to budgets rather than a specific project and project requests that do not meet the criteria with regard to content and form are not considered.

Requests submitted to the EMPIRIS Foundation are reviewed on an ongoing basis. The Foundation's project managers will be happy to help with any inquiries relating to project submissions. Please send an E-mail or use the contact form.
