SELECTION OF OUR PROJECTS

CHILDHOOD LEUKEMIA: BETTER CHANCES OF RECOVERY FOR SMALL PATIENTS

With the support of the "Judith Linggi" fund, the Children's University Hospital Zurich has established a research program to develop new approaches to treatment that are intended to help increase the chances of recovery for children suffering from leukemia.

MOBILE COOKING UNIT DEVELOPED FOR DEMENTIA SUFFERERS

The "Alzheimer" fund is financing a project that helps people with dementia to stimulate their senses through cooking.

REGISTRY FOR BLOOD STEM CELL DONORS

The Swiss Red Cross ensures that hospitals are supplied with blood products including, for example, blood stem cells. It is often the case that the only cure for patients with a malignant blood disease such as leukemia is a blood stem cell transplant. This life-saving undertaking is only possible with a registry of blood stem cell donors and through active recruitment of new donors. The "Martin Stoffel Foundation" supports the recruitment of new donors and various research projects that investigate stem cell transplantation as a way to improve the health of patients.
